Aerial Bondage

A spectacular image of a humiliating and demanding restraint. 

The bamboo support frame is artfully constructed in true shibari fashion to be visually satisfying. It seems to be swaying in response to the captive's struggles, probably creating unpleasant friction against his neck and feelings of insecurity that must be amplified by the tight and fiercely demanding bondage position. 

Interestingly, the upper cross pole seems to be just a structural and artistic part of the frame, having no direct role in the restraint although it would seem natural to flex the captive's legs over it. Perhaps that option was rejected as offering too much reassurance of safety to him.

There's evidence of a more conventional spanking having preceded this punishment, so this is corner time with a vengeance! I'd prefer a more mature subject but then again would an older man have the flexibity to endure this?

 I have this image labelled as being by 'Murka' but it's not signed and I can't find any other reference to him on the net. Interestingly Google Image Search classifies this image as 'aerobatics'!


Medicinal Research by Ron-9

Ron9 - Miku (Future)

A naked muscular man is restrained on a hi-tech table while the last dregs of a sample of his semen are delicately extracted from him with a pipette. Despite the cartoony style, his face is a nice portrayal of a butch stereotype who would clearly be quite a handful for the lab staff were he not controlled in some way. Tying his hands together to keep them out of mischief like this is a beginners bondage technique, but the restraint is exceptionally chunky and attached to a crude, but strong chain. The effectiveness of this simple equipment must be very frustrating for him (and enjoyable for us!) .

Since his hands are not free to stimulate himself (even were he so inclined) and since the staff attendant is totally enclosed in heavy duty, protective equipment and can't really lend him a hand, they have helpfully fitted him with a sizeable vibrator which buzzes away in the moist cavity between his legs (which are being held wide open, presumably by a similarly, weighty strapping around his ankles). 

Whether it's because of the vibrator, the bondage, the strangely-garbed attendant and weirdly impersonal set-up or perhaps because of the forced and invasive nature of the extraction, the burly patient seems to be producing sizeable quantities for them. (The use of glass tumbler makes me wonder if this sample is destined to go into someone's gin and tonic rather than for medical research!)

 


 This is something quite different. It seems to show the assembly of a bionic man who is apparently being fitted with a 'Hyper Power' extension to his cock and doesn't approve of the adaptation. Or perhaps he's a total robot, mystified by the useless device between his legs. The augmentation situation is the reverse of the extraction above but no less manipulative and interesting on that accounr. However, the styling of the man(?)'s face is not as characterful or satisfying and I confess the rolled back skin makes me squirm! I'd be glad of any help from readers in understanding what exactly is going on here.

 Ron9's images are usually dense with detail in vibrant colours and for that reason are probably better enjoyed in small doses, so I've resisted the temptation to expand this article into a wider review of his work.

mitchmen at war - 23 Going Down?

My twisted humour aside, the muscular embrace of these two men is both moving and distinctly homoerotic. Now they are alone, adrift together in the open sea until rescue comes.
 
Interestingly, the artist who painted this 1960 war comic cover seems to have been guilty of wishful thinking. This incident doesn't occur in the story. The hero does see his ship go down, but he is cast adrift all alone in the expanse of the South Atlantic.


This splendidly dramatic image documents the last moments of his ship, under attack from a commerce raider. It's very much in the vein of Victorian magazine illustrations which used to accompany accounts of heroic deeds and stoic manliness in adversity. 'The Boy Stood On The Burning Deck' and all that. 
 
Our hero, Dave (far right) seems less than heroic here, given the circumstances. You might be tempted to think he's caught a splinter as a result of kneeling on the deck while up to no good with a member of the crew - like the cute seaman with torn vest, left foreground. However I think it's probably a flying shell splinter from the bombardment that's hit him and rather more serious.

Sadly, Dave is the only survivor of this disaster, but fortunately he doesn't have to cling to an oildrum like the two men in the cover illustration, since a ship's lifeboat is floating nearby. This artist may be different from the cover artist, but he has a flair for drawing attractive men. The ripped shirt detail and chin stubble hints at the homoerotic.


In this image (from earlier in the story) there's a gratuitous but not unwelcome detail in the shape of a youthful steersman in the background . He seems distinctly stylish and very reminiscent of Leyendecker's illustrations. Sadly this bright young man is fated to go down with the ship. The Captain's words are grimly prophetic


Dave is eventually saved when another cute and very sharp-eyed Sailor spots him signalling his distress by using the boy scout trick of reflecting the sun's rays. Any self-respecting lifeboat should have been equipped with flares, but it gives Dave the chance to be romantic and resourceful. I love the square neckline of these Royal Navy shirts which are flimsier in real life than this drawing suggests.

This comic is a decent adventure yarn but despite the cavalcade of promising men, my mitchmen sniffer cannot find any hint of buddying up in this story. There's no captivity sequence, nor does any properly exposed flesh develop from the rips and tears. It must have been a great disappointment to those who were seduced by the cover art!

Milking Factories 11

Derart - Milking Factory

 Two more milking factories, both with a flavour of the laboratory about them.

Derart's contribution seems very clinical indeed. He uses as similar body-arching restraint to  ObiCumKenobi (No 7) and the memorable image of CupCakes666 (No 3). There's a communal collection facility implying these men are regarded as a herd rather than individuals. There's not a great deal of detail though and the distant viewpoint inhibits the impact somewhat, you might miss the interesting expressions - see detail below. 

 

This machinery seems to use a variety of stimulation techniques, mechanical tweaking (far left), classic 'sleeve' friction and for the third figure (far right) what looks like an injection of a chemical substance. I like the characterful grown-up faces. One of the men has facial hair but is shaved down below, whereas his neighbour has the reverse arrangement - discuss!


KW - Collection Facility

Have you noticed how everything these days has a vague, bland name? We don't have cupboards or shelves any more we have 'units'. People are not old or disabled or ill any more, they are 'vulnerable'. Companies and organisations don't have customers, subcontractors or specialists, they have 'partners'. We're not even gay or lesbian or transexual either, we're all 'LBGTQ' (although by the time you read this there may be more letters added to a meaningless grouping of utterly different individuals).

Be that as it may, KW has designated this set-up as a 'facility' but there's a nice sense of the factory about it (or milking parlour to be even more old-fashioned) thanks to the neatly-arranged and lengthy row of 'contributors' (or partners if you prefer, although that word seems to imply a willingness to participate which I suspect is totally absent here). The milk collection jars are shared by two men which I suppose might give them a greater interest in the outcum. There's even a suggestion of rivalry between the two on the far wall, shared shame for an unimpressive yield perhaps - or is it love down on the farm? Partnership pending.

Bizarre Punishments No 7 - The Sequel

When I find an image I particularly like in my War Comics meanderings, it usually makes me wonder - what happened next? These images are quite racy in their own way but were constrained by the young target audience and publishing controls, so bare tops are about as daring as it ever gets. I like to imagine scenes going further. 

This image was featured in Bizarre Punishments No 7 in the original black and white form and my starting point for 'improvement' was to apply some colour. This brings out the captive's impressive muscular frame and closely cropped hair, that neck is so sexy! I've also used colour to shape his bottom and hint at what else he may have suffered in this captivity.



Stripping off those tattered trousers reveals a very cute pair of buns. No wonder his captor looks so smug and attentive! I can't help thinking either that the guard's strategically-positioned gun might be code for another weapon inside his pants, but then, I'm just a pervert.

 Uncovering the captive's leg joints and colouring the machinery also exposed some very odd perspectives. The distortions help to condense the image in the original and the crazy angles help the drama too but they make it difficult to develop a more fetishistic view of the scene. I've started on a more realistic re-creation of it. Watch this space for that! 



The companion picture is probably better as a composition but not quite as sexy in the detail. You can imagine the crafty Officer contemplating what delights await him when de-bagging time arrives. The torturer is a rather good cameo in both images, exuding muscular strength and limited imagination.




 In the naked variant I decided to go for realism in the cock department. You can tell the Officer is teased by his victim's still-hidden potential and the torturer seems to think more pain will help. 
 
The limbs were easier to work with in this variant but the ropes and the arms don't stand up to close examination. I'm working on a Desert Rats variant to go on my mitchmen gallery at Deviant Art gallery, with skimpy rolled-up shorts providing the sexy modesty required there.

The Mighty Foo

This handsome devil defiantly, nay, provocatively, facing the firing squad is modelled on a comic book hero called 'The Mighty Foo', who bravely flirted with death in the cause of 'right'. This artist was inspired by the character and adopted the name as his own 'nom de guerre'. His homoerotic, military images gel nicely with my on-going 'War Comics' series.

 

 

Foo furnishes his own 'hero in trouble' with sensuous muscularity and erotic appeal. 

Clothing is often the bête noireof render artists, but that doesn't matter when it is used as imaginatively as this. The baggy fit actually highlights the sexy, torso 'window' drawing attention to the captive's nudity beneath his uniform.


Little surprise then that his captors are not content to simply detain him......

...... but also feel empowered to use and energetically abuse him.

Fear and it's consolation in sex is the key to understanding Foo's Art. 



The Mighty Foo - A Hero's Fate

The penetration shown a couple of pictures back is actually a relatively unusual scene in Foo's art. He favours the torment of prisoners by hand and mouth. Like Amalaric, Foo makes much use of the X-restraint but his men are totally suspended not left standing on the ground.

Securing the captive in this frame, one limb at a time, would be an interesting process and the resulting 'flying pose' makes for an extraordinarily sexy coupling. It seems like we can see the captive's mounting, sexual tension in his squirming surrender to the seducer's tongue. At the same time he must be wondering why they are doing this to him. 

This is a more recent picture and the hero's muscularity is leaner and more deeply etched than the handsome devil we started with. His shorts seem thick but loose-fitting, allowing easy access.

 


The Handsome Devil is tied to a post for his dose of the treatment. He's totally naked and blindfolded, utterly defenceless but astonishingly masculine as he's drawn in a intimate and inappropriate act. His flagpole response to being handled is probably more a measure of his humiliating capitulation than his enthusiasm for the process. The glimpse a uniform tells us he's in the grip of a powerful, insensitive organisation but the soldier's youthful appearance gives the impression that this is part of their military training, learning how to handle and degrade once-proud captives.

Foo explores many variations of this sexy, forced milking scenario in his imagery.

 


This version features a sensitive-looking, bespectacled soldier with a youthful, willowy and deliciously muscular torso. Lacking a blindfold, his eyes are able to engage with those of his tormentor creating a moment of searching intimacy, but you sense his confusion and doubt about all this. Dismayingly, the soldier stares back at him with determined, smug purpose. His expression is utterly devoid of affection or even desire. He has a job to do and his gratification will come from finishing it successfully. For the victim there's little option to resist, he can only endure it and wonder what comes next

Foo identifies this bespectacled character as an avatar of himself and that casts an interesting light on this image. He imagines himself as the captive of an impersonal force, manipulated and abused by it's obedient minions and facing the threat of a terrible, ultimate fate. 

Strangely enough, there's little sense of 'different sides' or enemies confronting each other in these images. The victims and perpetrators wear different combinations of military clothing but it's hard to tell if their uniforms are actually different. In fact Foo sometimes specifies that these men are colleagues in the same unit and that is the case in the next picture.

 


This image shows the punishment of an army Captain and his lover (presumably a man from the lower ranks). Not everyone would see this as a punishment, I suppose, but the humiliation of a public milking by your own colleagues is certainly intended as such. Any buddy punishment scenario conjures up an extra sense of helplessness for the captives, as they are both deprived of a primary avenue of rescue. Their youth and muscularity makes for a masculine beauty that tugs at our heart-strings - and other bits. 

Taken out of context, this image makes a damning statement about oppressive attitudes to homosexuality in the military, with more than a hint of the attendant hypocrisy, illustrated by task masters performing their role with bare chests. Just keeping their uniforms clear of flying fluid of course (yeah right)! 

The debris strewn around the captives feet in many of these images creates an atmosphere of chaos and insecurity, like a war zone. The damaged wall behind them suggests anything might happen next. Such is the world of the oppressed. 


 


In this variant of the 'gay lovers' idea, the junior man is being scapegoated, it seems. The 'target' disc hanging on his chest implies he's been condemned to the ultimate punishment, but since he's blindfolded it's possible he doesn't know it yet. It makes a mockery of the Captain's comforting tenderness at their parting.  
 
 To be fair to Foo, I'm putting my own twist on the scene. In his story the two lovers are actually undergoing this ritual punishment together to atone for the failings of their comrades in the unit. The Captain uses his position to comfort his lover before joining him in the punishment frames. 
'Parabatai' below also explores this scenario.


Foo's is a strange world in which men accept or even welcome death as the ultimate heroic sacrifice, whether for love, guilt, duty or patriotic reasons. An image like this is normally the stuff of atrocities, but Foo inverts it to become an expression of fate, of karma.

Foo's avatar is again playing out that fantasy of heroic self-sacrifice, or at least the threat of it. He puts himself at the mercy of a muscular and manly superior. The highly structured and precisely-ordered, all-male world of military service surrounds and imprisons them, invisible but inescapable. 

In images like this the victim's words don't simply represent him offering himself up for punishment, he's also urging the Officer to do his duty and giving him permission to do so. Thus, in a way he's equally in control and forges a bond of humanity (and dare I say love?) with his nemesis.


 This idea of karma is developed into a formal military code in the story of 'Parabatai'. Urban Dictionary defines Parabatai as warriors who fight together and have a special, unbreakable bond of love that strengthens them in battle. In Foo's story, the Parabatai serves the entire unit as a comforting, sexual slave and a surrogate for any punishments they earn as a group. Like a regimental mascot he is treasured by them, but it's a role which ultimately extends to ritual sacrifice as the Officer explains.....



Foo adopts the Greasetank approach here, casting an improbably handsome man as the vehicle for (what seems like) senseless and horrifying violence. There is a comic book tradition that differentiates between 'good' violence and 'bad' violence, but this man is 'just obeying orders' so how do you classify that? The victim is also dutifully fulfilling his designated role. He embraces his fate with quasi-religious, stoic calmness and dignity. Both of these men are trapped in a cruel, cultural tradition that is easier to follow than to break. 
 
It's not clear from the language whether the Parabatai is a real man or an artificial substitute whose demise might seem less shocking. The Officer talks about 'making' and 'training' a new one, but whatever the case, he still behaves just like a man and can die like one. He too bears a physical resemblance to Foo's avatar, but I think this is a different character.
 
 
 


We've seen that there's a disturbing, homoerotic intimacy in many of these chilling images, but 'The End Of The Patrol' has a coldness all it's own. It echoes the horror of arbitrary POW executions and civilian massacres that we tend to associate with WW2, but they are as old as time and still occur regularly today in every conflict.

These three are regular Foo characters, they all appear (to suffer and be reborn) in other works by him and he even gives them names - Dogface (left), Blondie (centre) and his own bespectacled avatar whose presence (to my mind) gives the group and their plight an ambiguous association with being gay. 

Regardless of that, there's something deeply unsettling in seeing them all assembled together as a group destined for ruthless despatch, the agents of which they can see before them. Strung up and helpless they await their fate and it's as though something in the very soul of their creator is in danger of being extinguished too.

 


You have probably realised by now, that I have held back from showing the rather important endings of these stories. We've seen captives restrained, stripped and interfered with and this one seems pretty nonchalant about all that, enjoying a cigarette with his afterglow. It's as though he doesn't understand its true significance. Being blindfolded, he can be forgiven for not realising there's a target-like disc on his chest and of course he can't see what we can see bottom left, but he ought to have heard the rattle of those rifles. This is either blissful ignorance or truly epic heroism.

The Mighty Foo has been around quite a while and like a Scarlet Pimpernel of extreme, fetish art he pops up in different places from time to time, then disappears again leaving hardy any traces behind him except admirers seeking him everywhere. The reason for this wandering is to be found in his subject matter - a preoccupation with depicting death and in particular the idea that violent demise triggers an involuntary sexual response in the victim.

His early photo manipulation images contain many workings of this last idea, they are typically characterised by victims with wild staring eyes spurting in their final throes. Not for the faint hearted. The relatively early GIF above (feat. 'Handsome Devil') is a bloodless template (I guess he just fainted).

 Spilling blood is not really my cup of tea but Foo's images of his heroes meeting their demise are memorable and almost tasteful. Some are astonishing and spectacular. Not a comfortable view but morbidly fascinating. They are certainly no worse than the bloody killings that gratuitously punctuate many Hollywood films and his of course use imaginary renders, not real people. Unfortunately they are still too graphic and provocative for me to include in this blog. You can seek them out, if you wish, at the link given below.

In more recent imagery shown here the sexual undercurrent is usually sign-posted by the ritual of (partially) undressing the victims and sometimes their direct stimulation by guards. In some of those storylines, surrendering to ejaculation is the signal for their execution to take place as though it were confirmation of their guilt or weakness - or is the draining cruelly denying them consolation in their final moments? It's easy to dismiss this simply as crude sadism but plainly there are complex motivations going on. The element of self-identification suggests there's much more to this obsession. More than I can unravel.


'Experiment 13' extends the auto-ejaculation fantasy into the world of science fiction. It envisages captured Prisoners of War being systematically harvested in front of a firing squad in the belief that their milk acquires special qualities in these circumstances. The complex milking equipment seen here puts most of my 'Milking Factories' in the shade. You couldn't ask for a more graphic example of perverted science and ruthless zealots abusing and exploiting innocent men.

 

 
Despite all the darkness of Foo's imaginings, there's a true sense of heroic bravery here. Surprisingly perhaps we also see comradeship and even romance in this image of the Captain and his lover sharing their final moments together, not doubt hoping for better beyond. The execution squad are seen for once, but only indistinctly, in the distance. Ultimately they are insignificant pawns themselves.

In 'respectable' circles, violence is OK, sex is OK, but linking them - even in fantasy - is taboo. Consequently artists like Foo, Bondageskin and Greasetank are forced into the margins. Unfortunately their less provocative images tend to go with them. You may not like the morbid extremes of Foo's work but I hope I've shown here that there's plenty of other marvellous imagery to enjoy.

The Mighty Foo 2 - The Ancients

 Read this mitchmen series about The Mighty Foo from Part 1

 This image channels Foo's spendidly lithe muscularity into the persona of a Warrior of the ancient world. He's staked out in a variant of the X-spread usually employed in hot climes by those who wish to leave the despatch of their enemies to the forces of nature. Something about the style of these images suggests an icier location me though, brrrr!


 

In this image he's drained of the essence of his manhood by another, ritualistically-dressed warrior, fresh from a fiercely fought battle. The implication is that this is a trophy captive who was not involved in the fight, but now must pay the price of defeat. The over-sized boots are a splendid detail but the it's the tensed, naked body, slightly lifted and twisted away from his tormentor that makes this picture so striking. It's actually a variant of the top image seen from a different angle, but it looks completely different with the interfering 'stag' providing impetus. 



A moment of capture is marvellously depicted here with a powerful, confident victor savouring the terrified spoils of battle with great satisfaction. Foo has an interest in facial expressions that adds much depth to his work, allowing us to glimpse the emotions of his characters as well as their actions. The captor here has the look of the native inhabitants of the Americas, which chimes with the spreadeagle punishment seen above - in the stereotypes of pulp fiction at least.  

 

 

 Here, Foo allocates the role of victor's prize to the character of 'Blondie' who we saw suffering the ultimate price of capture in 'The End Of The Patrol' (in Part 1 of this mitchmen series). I imagine that his distinctively European, pale appearance might seem weirdly exotic to these Warriors, who are cast in a very different mould. 


 

Blondie is induced to perform something of a party trick here, but it's Foo's portrayal of the intensity of their shared feelings at the moment of ecstasy that makes this image for me. Cool, manly determination and dominance induces a grudging, physical acknowledgement of his prowess from the defeated, and now submissive, captive.
 


That painful intensity of attraction and emotion bridging between a young captor and his spread-eagled captive is equally apparent in this scene of youthful experimentation, which harks back to the modern military scenarios of Part 1

The Art of Robby Cop

Robby Cop - Locked Up*

 I'm always extolling the virtue of visual simplicity in methods of bondage, Robby Cop applies that virtue in his art, hovering deceptively in the middle ground between pure comic cartoonery and stark realism. His striking images explore the world of those who like to submit to a masterful man. It's not portrayed as a pastime for wimps, however. This man is muscular, his cropped hair and blue beard are suggestive of inner hardness, his piercings and ironmongery an expression of confidence. Yet here he is, stripped and kneeling submissively, caged in a cell and encased in a chastity device, the captive of another man. 

We don't know if this is the moment of incarceration or of liberation. His expression seems thoughtful, uncertain, as though this wasn't what he intended when he started that conversation in a seedy bar.  He grips and tests his chastity belt as though he can't believe it's real.

Robber Copper - Splattered*

 This captive's world seems much darker. It's as if the initial excitement, the novelty of captivity has palled. He's just given pleasure to his captor, but his own reward seems pretty paltry and it's cold comfort as the door closes, leaving him alone in the darkness. This man looks less experienced and maybe this is his first time of being locked up. Maybe the reality of being totally dependent on another man for his basic needs, let alone any pleasures, is just dawning on him. As the hours go by, he wonders about his freedom too, doubts begin to niggle.

 

Robby Cop - The Pick Up*

Was this how it all began? The excitement of visiting his first leather bar, the daredevil fun of stripping off to mingle. The heady smells, the music, the lights.....

And then the men - mysterious, strong, reeking of masculinity, supremely confident. Surrounding him with admiring looks and words. Touching him, taking hold of him, pressing close with their warm skin. The men of his erotic day-dreams are here, but they are intimidating and some downright strange in the flesh. 

It's disconcerting until he spots 'The One'. He looks the part and talks the talk, but he's warmer and his bristles tickle. He seems real. The young man feels safe in his embrace. His talk of rope and chains rekindles the excitement....

 

Robby Cop - The Kiss*

For many a young man the possibility of kissing someone older, someone who is big, hairy and overpoweringly masculine, well, it's prize they never have imagined they might win. When that man wants to be dominated as well, it's likely to be enough to bring out the devil in him. The cool flesh tones and sharply defined features here suggest exactly that. 

The hairy sub here is a very nice image of hairiness and tenderness, a man that many would like to ensnare. 

 

Robby Cop - Who's A Good Boy?

It's also the hairiness of the subject that makes this image attractive for me, the contrast between his manly physical traits (albeit of a youthful nature) and his uncharacteristic, submissive behaviour. I don't really 'get' the doggie role play thing, but the collar and lead certainly work and that is one sexy jock. The visible evidence of an anal plug is sexy, the rear equivalent of a chastity cage, but it doesn't have to be a tail and it certainly doesn't have to wag - and please, no dog masks!

Robby clearly doesn't share my view, he has done a number of doggie-themed images like this.

 

Robby Cop - Biting The Bullet*

Indulging in Foot Fetish is an acquired taste, but the imagery has a wider appeal simply as a statement of submissiveness. It allows the vicarious pleasure of being able to imagine intoxicating, manly odours and intimate, tickling sensations without having to run the risk of encountering a less pleasant reality.

That reality is what seems to be what is going on here. Those boots look ominously like stink factories and the sub's expression as he chews off the socks looks like a man having second thoughts and wishing he was somewhere else - like the dance floor of the club where he met this guy. I suppose the risk of encountering over-pungency is a thrill in itself for some and sheer choking, repulsiveness a delicacy for true specialists. You get the impression that this chap is a man of some experience, someone who knows what's what, but perhaps has discovered that he's not that much of an enthusiast.

Of course his anguished look may have more to do with the chunky, rubber tread that's grinding into his crotch, another facet of the rainbow world of feet, but not necessarily conducive to a bumper climax.


Robby Cop - Toe Time*

This simple image with it's hints of an inter-generational pairing seems to show a more gentle initiation into the practice. There's even a hint of affection in those hair-fondling toes, even though the pressure of the foot is itself coercive. This is a less austere introduction to subbing than the cold cages at the top of this post. 

I like the idea of a toe with an erection, I don't think many could achieve the degree of toe-dexterity illustrated here. A rare and sought-after skill I imagine.


Robby Cop - Waste Specialist*

 If you're put off by the taste of sweaty socks......

This fantasy pops up fairly regularly in fetish art, I've done a 'mitchmen' version of it myself somewhere. The idea poses a challenge for the artist in sorting out the mechanics of the flow and the demands of gravity which necessitate different levels and usually visual separation of the participants. In some versions the plumbing seems to take precedence over the erotic interest. Robby has made a decent effort here but you can see the problem of achieving a satisfying integration. 

I like his idea of the tank-like enclosure for the sub and giving him the option of drinking the stuff or just being soaked by it. Judging by the dry floor (which has no waste outlet), he's either just come on duty or else he's got a raging thirst for the amber nectar. One can only imagine the scene in an hour's time.

Robby's drawing of the man providing the waste has a nice feeling of casual swagger and attractive maleness. Quite an achievement considering the economy of line. We can't see his face, he could be any man off the street, a regular guy. For that matter, the urinal might be situated in any office block, a gym, the possibilities are endless. The anonymity of this sort of arrangement is part of the thrill, the inability to pick and choose who the donor is, instead the sub can only imagine.


  
Robby Cop - Milking*

In this image, the sub himself is the donor, engaged in a much more pleasant duty (for most of us). 

This doesn't look like a milking factory at first sight but the bar code on his chest suggests there are many other milkers in the barn and that their produce is subject to sophisticated quality control and tracing techniques. Having a dedicated collection vessel might indicate that each man's output is sold separately, packaged like a luxury delicacy. However, the size of the vessel suggests that demand is high, I don't envy this man the task of filling it. Fortunately this farmer seems to be kind to his stock, relying on the pulsing sleeve to extract product, with no sign of the customary fetish 'stimulants'.


Robby Cop - Don't Move, it'll be over in a second

Robby's disarmingly light style disguises some serious subjects so don't try this at home! 

This is clearly not meant to be torture, but a fanciful musing on the far reaches of the chastity fetish where a mere lock and key is not deemed to provide sufficient security for a partner's prized organs. As always, getting into restraint is easier than getting out of it! Now the frustrated sub faces Hobson's choice and a supreme test of his trust in his partner skills with a welding torch. 

The trouble is, you can see how the application of a (modest) amount of heat to his metal sleeve might create an erotic sensation. It might seem a tempting game to the daring. The sub's face suggests he might be making just that sort of calculation, but as my mother used to say, "there's a difference between scratching your ass and tearing it to pieces".


Robby Cop - Night Raid*

There's an element of underlying menace in this image too although it's clearly a recollection of a youthful fantasy about a bedroom invader. The tattooed cop has the appearance of a night club stripper, a man of experience, but it's hard to read his face - is he a benign or a malign 'night visitor'? It certainly looks as if he expects the naive captive in his night attire to deliver more than these tentative pec kisses. The tantalising convergence of their respective bulges seems to be another indication of tentative sexual awakening which is quite nice. However, the rubber truncheon the cop's got in his hand is a fearsome thing (however you imagine he might use it). I fear his patience may run out soon. I'm sure you've been there.


Robby Cop - Cell Mating*

If you thought Robby's S&M cages looked like fun you might take a different view of this situation. The sexual exploitation of prisoners by alpha male inmates is an urban legend not entirely without foundation. This is a pretty uncompromising take on the subject. The black eye and tally markers on his chest tell us that this man has not been seduced by the manly charm of his cell-mate, although the beast looks perfectly capable of it. It's clearly a long running affair but you can decide for yourselves whether he was 'that way inclined' before he was sent down.

Great Medical Stuff by Nickie

Nickie - Demo
 

Whilst researching Robby Cop for the last post, I stumbled across Nickie Charles' Twitter feed and this terrific 'medical' image which alludes to a fetish I've never attempted to feature here for obvious reasons. I would normally put this scenario in the humiliation bracket but Nickie's subject proudly owns his inclinations and it all seems perfectly normal to everyone else (well nearly everyone!). I love how the 'professor' is pausing to explain a delicate nuance of the procedure. 

Whatever you think of the subject matter you have to admire Nickie's technique and his ability to depict attractive men, who are not excessively idealised. Not to mention his gentle erotic humour which is immensely warming.

Nickie - Doctor's Orders

Those qualities are also evident in this drawing, the seated patient is a marvellously believable chunky hunk. Despite the humour there's a strong sense of the Doctor's power in his stance and his patient's respectful submission to it, or is he just mesmerised? 

The face peeping round the curtain might be his partner or a passing medical worker wondering what's going on. Like the cartoon face in the crowd above, the secret voyeur is a very typical 'defusing' technique in modern, oriental, erotic art. The "Aw Missus!", Frankie Howerd school of humour - pretending to be shocked of behalf of the audience. You can spot similar examples in the work of Tom Of Finland (faces looking over the fence), Harry Bush (embarrassed noises off stage) and Etienne (disembodied hands reaching in from the side). It seems to have fallen out of fashion in the West.


Nickie - Class Volunteer

There's no disguising the embarrassment here but Nickie's horrified 'volunteer' hides it better than the man in the audience. The fact that he is still half clothed, obediently holding up his tee-shirt as instructed, gives a sense that this has happened quite suddenly, out of the blue. The bands round his wrists are suggestive of bondage, but maybe it's just a fashion touch or part of the 'experiment'. 

The confident mature men who take charge of proceedings in the these images are exploiting their position if the truth be told and that's apparent here, but we all enjoy watching the victim squirm. Most Rugby Players (and this chap looks like he could be one) would take this in their stride and without offence. The lady on the left, I suspect not.

Absolutbleu - New Soccer Captain

This marvellous image is labelled by the artist as a soccer player and the shin pads and technique of chesting of the ball, cleverly captured here, certainly belong in that sport. However I'm encouraged by the oval ball and awesome physique to see this sportsman as a rugby player. I love his skimpy shorts and mighty thighs. 

The love-struck comic character in the background is another example of the cartoon commentary device I talked about in my article on Nickie

 I've published images by Absolutbleu here twice before : A randy snowman in 'It Must Be Winter' and a Pirate kidnapping a Merman in 'Summer Booty' (both in 2019). Both these images and the sportsman above have central characters with a strong identity, either cultural or homoerotic. I've labelled them as iconic for this post (although it's a fashionable, much abused word in these days of vagueness).


Absolutbleu - Cop, Ticket Stop*

"I'll do whatever you say, Officer!" The simple device of an opened car window in the foreground draws us personally into this image imagining the erotic aura pouring into the car. This is the cop as a desirable man as well as a figure of authority, a lethal combination. His swollen pecs are a trademark of this artist's work.

The sportsman above is a reasonably authentic imagining of the hunky footballer icon but Absolutbleu doesn't allow conventional attire to confine his re-imaginings. The upper body of this cop is not so very far removed from the muscular types seen in American cities but his scanty, mankini-like thong certainly is. Absolutbleu transforms a ludicrous garment into something very sexy, attracting our aroused interest rather than ridicule (who would dare?). The pouch design is similar to that used by Stefan in his muscle art. The badge and it's subdued, co-ordinated colouring are nice touches.

Absolutblue - A Small Present (Cowboy*)

The cowboy gets a similar makeover with a cow-hide pouch by the look of it. Interesting! No gun in his holster though, which might lead you to think the phallic column in the background is more his thing. Or perhaps he's making his way home after being waylaid by a bandit who took everything he had. If so he doesn't look too upset about it.

This artist's faces are quite expressive and this one is decidedly cute in a manly way.

 

Absolutbleu - Nathan Drake (adventurer*)

 The 'dangerous curves' of Nathan Drake from the game 'Uncharted'. He's representative of the modern day, game character icons (like Chris Redfield) whose durability has yet to be proven. This sketch shows his face in it's unrefined form and there's a delicacy of line and authenticity that is quite engaging, a sexiness that shades into something rather different in the more polished images. The sweeping 'S'  of his exaggerated body curves shows an artistic sense of style.


Absolutbleu - Sea Food (preliminary sketch)

This sketch for a beached merman shows similar characteristics of stylishness and delicacy. This creature's muscularity is conveyed mainly by a sense of bulk, rather than detailed line work or shading. Both these sketches illustrate another prominent feature of this artist's work - subjects who flirt with the viewer, inviting us to admire their bottoms (and so on).

 

Absolutbleu - Xmas Drive Aid

 It's the wrong time of year in the Northern Hemisphere but I can't leave this selection of Absolutbleu icons without mentioning Father Christmas. One for the boys down-under! This artist's output of Xmas-themed images is phenomenal and this sexy Santa (who is not the real thing but a regular humpy guy who's dressed up for charity) is a worthy representative of them. He's seen braving the cold snow with no apparent adverse consequences for his ding-a-ling. I like the skilful ribbon arrangement, covering and clinging to his elevated nipples. Meanwhile the potential for unravelling that bow boggles the imagination!

Absolutbleu - Bulges

This stunning image is an advert for 'Bulges' beach bar illustrating the tempting goodies on offer. Waiters and bar men in gay establishments are arguably one of the modern icons of distant desire displacing the sailors and construction workers of old. They always seem attractive and friendly for some reason - like-minded and almost within reach.

In Absolutbleu's cafe, they are within reach. The skimpy thongs and bulging muscles of the good-natured waiters are calculated to pull in crowds of men. Attracting their attention is a more pleasurable chore than is usually the case in busy joints.

The beach is one of the 'worlds' of gay men that this artist explores in his work. There, more tempting specimens are to be seen, roving the sand and dressed to kill in G-strings as they hand out their flyers and vouchers for other entertainments. They may even pause to chat, their intoxicating physiques hovering invitingly as though promising more later. It's enough to make a water bottle squirt!

The beach is full of characters determined to have fun and this is a great caricature of a man who knows how to attract attention. Sometimes it's hard to tell whether it's better to pursue them or avoid them.

For lesser mortals, these specimens of ultra-developed manhood, seen in the flesh at close quarters are shockingly desirable - and they know it. In Absolutbleu's art these hunks flirt outrageously and their minimal garments are barely visible amongst the mounds of succulent, gleaming flesh. I can't decide if the gentleman on the right has dropped his drink because he's overwhelmed by a rush of lust or if it's just a device to grovel at the feet of a God.

For Gods these men are. This image puts me in mind of the sirens of lore who lured unwary seamen to their doom. On the other hand, what better way to go? Absolutbleu's flirts seem to have no malice in them however. On the face of it they just want to have fun and they seem to have a dauntingly endless appetite for it. Their carefully crafted musculature seems to represent a pride in their manhood as much as a device to attact partners and their sexiness an innocent gift to others with no other motive than mutual pleasure.

The Art Of Absolutbleu 3 - At The Gym

Absolutbleu - Muscle Stadium*

Birds of a feather flock together. That's certainly true of muscle heads in the real world. These two casually flaunting their bodies in an empty stadium seem to be playing out an elaborate courtship ritual disguised as a serious discussion, probably about methods of muscle development and nutrition regimes, or maybe the most reliable, retaining brand of skimpy thongs.  More and more flesh is gradually exposed for comparison purposes and the two men gravitate closer and closer to each other, anticipating the electricity of an actual touch. The white shirts are suggestive of Tennis players but the hint of shoulder pads point to American Footballers.

Absolutbleu - Gym Distraction
 
While these Muscle Gods love to tantalise lesser mortals on the beach and at other gay haunts, entrance to their exclusive world can only be gained by acquiring a similar physique. The way to do that is by going to the gym. This picture seems to encapsulate that fantasy, the caption seeming to suggest the ease with which a fresh face, seen to be embarking on a training regime, can get immediate access to the box of chocolates. (I don't  know for certain if the caption is by Absolutbleu, but it seems to fit the image).
 
Absolutbleu - Handsome Muscle Flirt*
 
This sketch sums up the fantasy allure of a handsome muscle man, kneeling submissively and baring his generously-proportioned backside in an inviting pose that seems open and genuine.
There's a spanking interest here for some, but I haven't found that activity yet in Absolutbleu's art
This is a good example of how interesting Absolutbleu's faces can be in simple sketches.  



Absolutbleu - Gym Undress
 
This image gives quite a different view of the gym induction procedure as a visitor's shorts are forcibly removed, much to his alarm. I guess the assailant may be his personal trainer but the grin here is not exactly playful or friendly. It's a calculated act, an invasive first step that tests the new boy's inner strength. His lack of resistance confirms that he's suitably submissive for what has been planned

I think that this blond man, with his distinctive dreadlock is one of Absolutbleu's stock characters but I don't know his identity or back-story.

Absolutbleu - Gym Series, Dumbell Curl
 
What follows is a whole series of images in which we see the hapless gym bunny being given a guided tour of muscle training exercises by his trainer. He has to perform them all naked, while his mentor simultaneously gratifies his lust using whichever orifice presents itself.

Absolutbleu - Gym Series, Stretching

Any gay man who's been to the gym will have spent time watching the other men train and wistfully fantasising about taking advantage of the sexy sights that present themselves. Absolutbleu's characters play out these fantasies and it makes for a humourous set of images. However, the blond's confused compliance with the demands of his trainer conjure a undercurrent of domination and submissiveness. It's a harder edge that is very different to the fun and games we saw on the beach.


Absolutbleu - Naked Gym Training*
 
This image develops that theme into something more like bullying as two muscle men size up another gym user who clearly doesn't relish their attention. It's a long way from the confident flirt we saw earlier. His discomfort is amplified by the presence of visitors who are amazed and amused by what they see.

Absolutbleu - Car Wash*

Compare that image with this street scene. It's another classic, homoerotic situation but one usually given over to cash-needy, student types rather than musclehunks. Nevertheless it provides a great vehicle(!) for the artist's usual themes including some great skimpy shorts. At one level it's a scene of playfulness over a shared chore, however, there's a subtle touch of intimidation in the spraying of water and forced undressing of the central, larger character which gives this image something an edge, particularly in the light of the gym ones we've just seen. Is there a hint of discomfort, of vulnerability, in the big man's smile? 
 
The context here isn't entirely clear. Is he the rich owner of the car? Or just one of the cleaning gang? The slant of the picture itself gives a sense of instability, a slide into an unexpected outcome. Even the car itself has an eerie, erotic presence thrusting forward like a gaping mouth. Fascinating.
 
 
Absolutbleu - Lollipop*
 
This view of a muscle head contentedly sucking on an ice lollipop is deliciously romanticised and sensual. This powerfully built man has carefully crafted his image to maximise his attractiveness, not just his physique, but his clothes and hair too. But here he shows an inner quality, a softer, sensitive side. 
It's a great image and a great advert for the world of muscledom.
 
But notice that he can't help supplementing the moment with a bicep flex, a touch of muscle-vanity which I suspect motivates Absolutbleu's other view of these men. 


Absolutbleu - Muscle Service*
 
His other extreme is a world in which muscular men are submissive and desperately needy, at the beck and call of ordinary guys who see the gym as a hunting ground. The cultivation of physical strength and bulk has earned him admiration and attention but no respect ultimately and that reality seems to be dawning on him here. 
 
Absolutebleu - Pay and Park*
 
It's possible that this humiliation is driven by his need for money to buy training 'supplements' to maintain his hard-earned build. Absolutblue heaps on the indignity here by showing the powerful man grovelling at the feet of multiple users and hastily gathering up his money. There may be a smiley on his placard but his face shows humiliation, resentment and perhaps relief that it's all over - for now.


Absolutbleu - Bursting Out
There's a more humourous come-uppance for this muscle fan as his polo shirt finally gives up the challenge of containing those giant pecs, allowing them to burst out and send his lunch flying in the middle of the cafeteria. I'm surprised there seem to be no spectators to witness this humiliating moment, there usually are in this art! Perhaps they are off-shot, but he's obviously dismayed anyway. His trousers are about to do the same, so maybe it's just as well that he hasn't sat down! Having said that, retrieving his frugal meal of apple and drink (or is it yoghurt?) from the floor may be tricky.This sort of humour connects directly to the very beginnings of (mass) gay erotica in the 1950's with artists like Art Bob.

 The man in this picture is the Engineer who came to fix the gas (it was trouble with my mains cock).
He did quite a lot of damage to my skirtings, so I bundled him into the bedroom while we negotiated who should pay for it to be fixed. He was very uncooperative, I started searching his overalls for money. Well actually I removed them from his body first and in doing so inadvertently exposed his underwear which was all he had on underneath. It was pristine white and snug-fitting, but nice but very old-fashioned and he'd even tucked his vest into his high-waisted pants like a schoolboy does. By this time I had him tied, spread-eagled on the bed of course, so he couldn't couldn't cover anything up and his embarrassment was obvious (and rather pleasing if I'm honest). I immediately went to fetch my phone to make a record of him squirming - for my future enjoyment, you understand.

As my lens roved across his body seeking out artistic details to capture for posterity, the bulge in his underpants, nicely framed by the Y-seams, caught my eye. I couldn't resist experimenting to see if I could increase the swelling or at least to rearrange it so it looked bigger. This brought a growled response from him, but I got some fab pictures. For some reason that inverted-Y shape made me think of pitchforks and balloons, but when I told him that he didn't appreciate the joke for some reason. He started yelling and shouting, so of course I had to gag him - for the neighbours sake.

Anyway, to cut a long story short, he let me have my stopcock service for nothing in the end.

I've always been turned on by Y-Front style underwear worn with a tucked in vest. It goes back to days spent ogling and dissecting the men's underwear pages of mail order catalogues. 

This style of underwear is very conservative and favoured by modest, unadventurous men
(and I suppose 'large' ones) who appreciate the extra coverage afforded by the high-rise design. There's something very manly about it's no-frills practicality. It doesn't pass as swim or leisure wear when it's unveiled, but spells out firmly that this man is in and 'undressed' state and exhibiting a garment he didn't intend others should ever see. The tucked-in vest seems to amplify this buttoned-up, extreme modesty. For erotically minded viewers it creates a similar sexy impression to an 'all-in-one' suit or leotard.

Absolutbleu - Park Life*

  After the gym, what better pastime for a gym bunny, than to go for a cool-down stretch in the park where he can impress other men with the fruits of his training? These efforts to attract the attention of two passing joggers go beyond the normal, cautious limits of cruising etiquette and the sight would scare off many men, but these two seem to be falling over themselves to get at him (notice how their lower and upper bodies are inter-twined in their eagerness to get there first). The clothing in this picture - both the long leggings/socks and the discarded vest and thong - makes it very sexy.


Absolutbleu - Jogger Tied  Up

The woods are another traditional, gay haunt but it's not without it's dangers. With hands tied and clothes ripped off his body, this jogger gets a different sort of stretching from a square jawed and rough-looking marauder. His gushing response suggests it's only the loss of designer, sports clothing that he'll regret afterwards. Bondage elements and forcefulness are not common in this artist's work but there's an occasional undercurrent of intimidation set against the flirtatious behaviour of the muscle-bound stereotypes.
 
 
Absolutbleu - Kick Boxing
 
This type of sports activity is not entirely unknown in public, leisure spaces, but usually without the nudity. These two seem to be fighting over (and thoroughly exciting) the spectator in the background who is wearing a distinctive necklace cum collar(?) or gag(?) I suspect these characters are strays from a modern computer game (there is a variant of this image overlaid with game scores), but I can't identify the game or them, nor the backstory to this encounter. In the nude, their high-kick poses provoke an erotic comparison with the flirt in the top picture. Their cocks point away from their opponent and it's almost as if  they are both presenting their rear ends. The dramatic, canted angle of the picture suggests they might even come together this way.  The fallen, autumn leaves are a charming and distinctly oriental detail, possibly with a symbolic meaning.


Absolutbleu - Boxer

In this boxing contest the spoils of victory are the loser himself. This thuggish-looking character is left dazed and confused, nursing a black eye and sore ass with the remnants of his modesty stuffed into his mouth. Some flirts, it seems, are not a push-over for bullies. Hooray to that.
 

Absolutbleu - The Coach

 I don't know if this coach, seen exercising his authority in another part of the park, is one the bullying kind but the artist has managed to infuse him with physical strength and a firm character that brooks no argument from his team. Sports grounds are not a typical domain for gay men, they are more suited to profitless ogling rather than cruising, but this specimen's manliness and his provocative attire (with ultra-tight shorts not dissimilar to those of the assaulted jogger above) has attracted the interest of two suited, passers-by. I don't know what their finger signals mean but they are obviously plotting a practical joke.

Absolutbleu - Coach Propositioned

 This scene encapsulates a lure that would not be out of place in the enslavement sagas of Amalaric. The enviable ability of suited (i.e. rich and clever) men to manipulate ordinary hunks. It's somewhat surprising that fifteen dollars is enough to persuade the Coach to lower his shorts (which look just as sexy in this position as they did wrapped round his ass). In the middle of a public space too, with his team, presumably, not far away! Maybe there's some other leverage at work here. The procedure has revealed him to be wearing a skimpy thong rather than the butch, white jockstrap you might have expected. I'm glad to see it's a tasteful, manly, subdued colour but it speaks of unconventional, unmanly interests that his employers might find worrying. It's even more surprising and revealing to discover that the whole situation is a massive turn on for him.

Regulars know that I'm a fan of clothing playing a role in erotica, the pecs and shoulder details here look great, if a little over-exaggerated. It goes without saying that I love equally the moment of undressing. Especially when it reveals unexpected, bonus sights like this. Sadly such scenes are as rare in erotic art as they are in mainstream porn.


Absolutbleu - Coach Gives Service

 Further pictures in this series show the Coach's complete submission to the crafty manipulators in the car park and a belated realisation that he really likes it. Doh! This seduction of a hugely manly stereotype by two quite ordinary-looking, business types is the reverse of the flirtation theme of other images by this artist (like the beach bar in Part 2). The common ingredient though is the lustfulness these musclemen generate, sometimes without realising it. This scene reminds me of Etienne's memorable Night Patrol, car park arrests, it would make a fitting finale.

Absolutbleu - Coach in Cuffs

This incomplete image shows Coach moving on from sexy undies and casual park encounters into the realms of harder fetish, here he is handcuffed (tokenisticly) by a booted and exceptionally excited assailant.

Absolutbleu - Interrogation Room

It's not unknown for men who seek out adventures in parks and other cruising grounds to end up in handcuffs administered by the law. They don't usually end up being interrogated like this, but I suppose it's one way to persuade a hardened criminal to spill. It's not clear if his gritted teeth represent reluctance to do so on his part or simply a helpless surrender to an unusually demanding orgasm. Once again, Absolutblue produces a characterful and attractive face for him, using (what seem to be) the simplest of lines. The cop turns out to be yet another flirt with a majestic and accommodating backside and a supreme confidence in getting his way with rough, tough guys. His superiors (improbably) look on with exasperation. There's actually a nice sense here of straights being excluded from the arcane knowledge of gays in the ways of men and their susceptibilty to certain, secret machinations.

These grainy images are from the Zeus film 'Tightropes 14' (1990's)
 
The rope 'groin-harness', hooked tit-clips and the seemingly innocuous, but totally disabling, leaning 'gate' frame were used in many Zeus films, they were part of their formula. Fans wanted to see who would get the treatment next, how they would look while getting it, but few men looked as good as this model. Bondage is about controlling strength and David Stark's marvellous muscles seem to love being tied up and tweaked.

The Art of Absolutbleu 5 - At The Club

Absolutbleu - Chris Redfield
 

This is a lawman of a different sort to the one we saw at the end of Part 4 of this mitchmen review of Absolutbleu's art. His take on Chris Redfield, the government investigator of biological hazards, doesn't closely resemble his 'official portrait' apart from the trademark stubble. He doesn't even have the customary, ripped and tattered S.T.A.R.S. uniform, with it's characteristic shoulder flash, so this could really be any special agent of the games universe. 

He's packing an interesting, erotic weapon in his holster and this depiction actually looks something like a stripper's parody of the character. This could also be said of many of Absolutbleu's other homo-erotic icons so it's not surprising that Night Clubs and their clientele figure amongst the gay haunts that he chronicles.  

Absolutbleu - Night Club Stripper

This straightforward depiction of the interaction between a Cowboy pole-dancer and his audience casts a slightly different light on 'The Flirt' and his lustful admirers, stereotypes which occur repeatedly in this artist's work. Of course, strippers are the archetypal flirts and the spot-lit stage on which they perform reflects their elevated position in gay life and the gulf that exists between such muscle-hunks and ordinary mortals. In this image, however, the stripper seems as eager as his fans to bridge that divide or is he simply mesmerised by the money?  

(The money is actually being offered to his cock, it seems, rather than himself, an interesting but possibly unintentional bit of irony)


Absolutbleu - Wet Vest Competition

Pole dancing has now largely passed into the crowded obscurity of personal fitness fads (along with Aerobics, Step and Pilates). This scene reflects the modern, industrial-scale commercialisation of Night Club stripping. The Gods and mortals are even more separated here with the strippers not even looking at their frustrated audience, let alone making a connection like that seen in the previous picture. 

The adoring onlookers are reduced to vague silhouettes and cartoons but their lust is cleverly represented by a single, raised, clenched fist directed hopefully towards one of the strippers' dripping groins. Even the 'roadie' supplying the wetness is seemingly dazzled by this great pantheon and like the audience members, he is reduced to a mere caricature. Oddly enough the cartoons seem more like real people than the self-obsessed performers on the stage.

I don't know if the caption is attributable to Absolutblue himself but it represents another seemingly uncrossable gulf - between those, like myself, who see clothes as an essential element of erotica and those who think the exact opposite, that nakedness is the only thing that matters.


Absolutbleu - Merman In A Water Tank

This most inventive image stretches that idea of a gulf into the realms of fantasy with a merman performing in a fish tank on the stage. Mer-creatures in fiction have always represented an unattainable ideal anyway, by virtue of their incompatible anatomy and undersea habitat. The tank here symbolises that additional degree of separation between muscle and mortal. There's an inherent cruelty in catching them and making a freak show out of them, but this merman (like a true A-flirt) seems to love the adulation (from the safety of his tank, at least). 

 

Absolutebleu - Nightclub Lap-Dancer Groped
 

You might think that this image portrays the gulf being bridged, with a dancer allowing an audience member to grope him. His face even shows his pleasure, but there's also an element of calculation in the gritted teeth. 'Make the most of it', he seems to say, 'because it's all you are going to get'. In real life these allowed touches are fleeting, a commercial transaction, they are part of the job of a lap dancer and not, usually, a precursor to genuine intimacy. The gulf is maintained, but at a cost to dignity. 

It's still a highly erotic image, however, and the eagerness of the punter is nicely captured by the clenched hand gripping the dancer's pants so he can't escape. Since the moment is frozen in time, it allows us to imagine more exciting outcomes. 

The dancer's face here is Absolutbleu's standard 'Flirt Face' and seen in many of his images.


Absolutbleu - Champagne Room

 
 This impressive picture also shows the less glamorous side of the life of a professional muscle flirt. It's set in an upmarket gentlemen's club, where for the (exorbitant) price of a bottle of Champagne, patrons can gain personal access to one of the attractive waiters. This well muscled 'host' is dressed only in white cuffs and briefs, like a Chippendale model. Chippendales are arguably the aristocrats of stripperdom, epitomising both the masculine ideal and it's unattainability (which is preserved by performing for women not men). 
 
This host here doesn't have a Flirt Face but one that seems youthful and sensitive, as though he really is a young, sporty student topping up his grant, not a tramp. He's having to resist the advances of his (doubtless inebriated) client who doesn't seem to have read or remembered the notice on the wall. With his skimpy underpants already pulled down the poor lad struggles to extricate himself with dignity - and we can all hope he won't succeed! 
 
Notice the profusion of upward pointing objects in the room and in particular the champagne bottle almost touching the palm of his hand.


Absolutbleu - Flirt At The Pool

Swimmers are unattainable ideals in a class of their own. They have an attractive athletic aura which is enhanced by teasingly brief costumes quite unlike those of any other sport. They can be found at Swimming Pools like this with lanes marked out, but these are places for serious sport and training and don't make good cruising grounds.

Absolubleu has cast this flirt as a competitive swimmer in his cap and goggles, but his physique is not that of an avid swimmer and his ultra-skimpy costume would be more likely to raise eyebrows rather than anything else. A-Flirts are certainly audacious exhibitionists and in this setting, sexual consequences are unlikely.

 

Absolutbleu - Cooling Down At The Sauna

I love this image of a well-worked butt cooling under a running stream of water, it's rather like having a rude, water feature in a garden. The water level plays the same role as lowered shorts in other images, giving a sense of a highly intimate area being unintentionally or grudgingly revealed, but the flirt's face shows it's far from accidental. In a sense the Sauna is the ultimate gay refuge, where Gods and mortals can relax and freely mingle but it's also a place with a strict etiquette to accommodate those who just want to be looked at. The intimate, steamy atmosphere enhances the intensity of voyeuristic encounters just as much as it does for the real thing.


Absolutebleu - Milk, Sir?

After a Sauna or a night at the Club, what better than a milky coffee?

A muscle-hunk is publicly humiliated by being forced to provide a splash of milk for a customer's coffee. The half-hidden sign seems to hint that it is indeed part of his job to serve customers in this near naked state (unprotected, you'll notice, by any counter or bar top). I love that he straddles the table top to do it, overturning a phallic salt shaker and spilling other salt too.

This seems to say that muscle hunks are just human and have to do mundane jobs like everybody else when they are not being stars. No-one in this picture is admiring his muscles, but I guess they do make his milk that much more desirable. Compare this image with the waiter providing breakfast milk from IFNB and the Milk Outlets image of Catrasche.

This wonderful picture epitomises the mitchmen motto of putting men in their place. Absolutbleu has given this one a rather earthy, average guy face and that adds to the poignancy of his predicament. It really belongs with the exploitation images in Part 3 of this series but it gives me a nice bridge into the final episode - 'You've Got Milk' (link and post pending).
